George Nemphos
George J. Nemphos

George J. Nemphos is a founding member of Nemphos Braue, a Mid-Atlantic boutique law firm, representing entrepreneurs, start-ups, emerging and mature companies, as well as venture capital and private equity funds. He has extensive experience working with private equity to lead M&A deals including spin-offs, roll-ups, minority interest acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as advising in capital raising efforts, and supporting entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses.George holds a LLM from Georgetown, and a JD from U of B.  He volunteers his time at St. Paul’s School for Boys, was the 2019 Auction Chair for the American Heart Association Heart Ball, and serves on the Board of Directors for both Driving Force Group and the American Diabetes Association. 

Dr. Panagis Galiatsatos

Panagis Galiatsatos, M.D., M.H.S. is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  He is the co-director and co-founder of Medicine for the Greater Good, a novel medical initiative impacting over 10,000 Baltimore City lives in regards to health and wellness while at the same time creating physician-citizens. He has published over 30 research articles, with a focus on health equity, community engagement, and contextual-level variables impact on health outcomes.  He is also a co-author of a book series, “Building Health Communities”, where a review in JAMA discusses “this book literally has the potential to save lives”.  He has a TED talk discussing the need for healthcare to engage with the local community for health equitable outcomes.  Further, he is the recent recipient of Maryland’s “40 under 40” and “Healthcare Heroes” in 2018 and 2019, respectively.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Temple University, his medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, his internal medicine training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, his critical care medicine training at the National Institutes of Health, and his pulmonary training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  

Dr. Stacy Fisher

Stacy Fisher, M.D., is an associate professor of medicine and pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). Since 2011, she has served as the director of women’s and complex heart diseases in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, and also directs the adult congenital heart fellowship program. As a cardiologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Fisher specializes in adult congenital heart disease, pregnancy and pulmonary hypertension. Her research focus is congenital heart patients including pulmonary hypertension, genetic and 3D printing translational medicine. Dr. Fisher completed her undergraduate degree at Miami University, her medical school at UMSOM, her internal medicine training at Duke University, and her cardiology training at the University of Rochester, and her adult congenital heart training at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. In 2001, Dr. Fisher was named the director of women’s cardiovascular services and the co-director of the cardiac critical care unit at Sinai Hospital. Then in 2011, she joined UMSOM to start its adult congenital heart program. Dr. Fisher is the current president of the American Heart Association Greater Maryland Region.

Dr. Jonathan Thierman

Jonathan Thierman, M.D., P.H.D.– is the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) for Lifebridge Health and the Vice-Chairman of the Medical Staff for Northwest Hospital.  He is leading Lifebridge into the digital medicine era with initiatives including a system telehealth platform and big data analytics, to improve patient throughput, system efficiencies, and the delivery of quality care across the continuum.  He also oversees and continues to work on projects related to physician system optimization and engagement. Dr. Thierman holds a Ph.D. in mechanical and biomedical engineering from the Health Sciences and Technology Program at MIT. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins, where he was chair of the Emergency Medicine Informatics Committee.  He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine, and continues to practice in the Emergency Departments at Lifebridge.

Dr. Dee-Dee Shiller

Dee-Dee Shiller, D.O. is a board certified gynecologist and osteopath. She graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was awarded an undergraduate fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine. She completed her OB/Gyn residency in Baltimore at Sinai Hospital.  Dr. Shiller was the Chief of gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital and then was the founding director of the Women’s Wellness center at Northwest Hospital. She currently performs surgery at both Northwest and Sinai Hospitals.  Her professional concentration is on pelvic pain, sexual pain and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Shiller takes a holistic approach to treating a wide range of gynecologic conditions. She is an active community speaker and advocate for Women’s preventive health. When she is not working she enjoys hiking and birding with her husband and 3 beautiful children.
