Kennedy Krieger to Hold Faith Leaders Conference
Join faith leaders from all spiritual traditions for a day of learning, reflection and inspiration at the Kennedy Krieger Annual Faith Leaders Conference on Thursday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The conference will take place at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, 8th Floor Conference Center , 1741 Ashland Avenue in Baltimore.
The “Partnership with Purpose: Advance Disability Inclusion in Faith Communities” conference will provide participants with opportunities to explore practical faith-informed strategies for creating communities of belonging for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Among the speakers will be Lt. Gov. Aruna K. Miller; Dr. Lora Hargrove, Director of Faith Outreach at the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, and author Rev. Bill Gaventa.
The welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Bradley L. Schlaggar, president and CEO of the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
The conference is free, but registration is required.
