DESCRIPTION:Kappa Guild Inc. will hold its annual holiday gift wrapping event at The Shops at Kenilworth\, at 800 Kenilworth Drive in Towson. The gift wrapping event will be held from Tuesday\, Dec. 10\, through Tuesday\, Dec. 24.The gift wrapping station will be located on the upper level in between Collections & Comfort One Shoe.\n\nTimes are on Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.\, Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.\, and Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nPrices for wrapping depends on the size of the item. Both Christmas and Chanukah wrapping will be available. \nFor seven decades\, the Baltimore-based guild has brought together women to improve the quality of care for critically ill children and children with special needs. From its inception\, the guild’s purpose was “helping children in need\,” a phrase that became its mission statement. \nAmong the 25 organizations that benefit from the guild’s efforts are the University of Maryland Neonatal Intensive Care Unit\, Sinai Hospital’s Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital\, the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. \nAll proceeds raised at the gift wrapping benefit this month go toward pediatric/NICU departments in various local hospitals\, as well as numerous local programs that support children.
