Former MIRs will reflect on their experiences\, and residents will share how the power of music has touched their lives. \nSpringwell was the first community to host a Peabody student musician in 2015 when guitarist Julien Xuereb helped pilot the MIR concept\, now a cornerstone of Peabody’s community engagement and experiential learning portfolios. Other programs Barlev has participated in include the Young and Excellent String Players Program\, the Goldman Chamber Music Program\, the Young Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra\, and the Huberman Program for Gifted String Players. \nAndrew Stewart is the music director at HSOSC. He has given thousands of performances around the world and is on the faculty at Goucher College and the Peabody Preparatory.
