One of the most competitive local races for public office this political season is for Baltimore County Executive. Jmore recently spoke with four of the candidates about their views on how they hope to enhance life in the county. (These are the candidates who responded to Jmore’s inquiries.)
The County Executive office is open after the County Council appointed Kathy Klausmeier in January of 2025 to fill the remaining term of Johnny Olszewski after his election to Congress in 2024.
Maryland’s primary election takes place on Tuesday, June 23. Early voting takes place from June 11-18.
