Anniversary of Desegregation at Gwynn Oak Park to be Celebrated

The 60th anniversary of the historic desegregation of Gwynn Oak Amusement Park will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug. 27, at noon with a “Unity Festival.”
The day of honor, celebration and unity will be held at Gwynn Oak Park, 6010 Gwynn Oak Ave. in Baltimore.
Featured at this free event will be live musical performances and entertainment, meetings with authors and civil rights movement heroes, a table talk and Q&A, and much more.
