The Baltimore Klezmer Orchestra will perform on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Pikesville’s Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah Hebrew Congregation for the grand opening of the Harry Katz and Rose Katz Music Center. The event is free and open to the community.

Founded in 1988, the BKO is an all-volunteer group that meets regularly to play Klezmer and Jewish music. The BKO performs at community events, synagogues, retirement and nursing homes, and at various concerts. As a community orchestra, the BKO is always looking for musicians to join the group.
