There’s a lot of buzz in the air these days about the revitalization of the Pikesville Armory property. If you want to check out the historic former military installation while enjoying the smooth sounds of jazz, the Pikesville Armory Foundation has got you covered.
For the second time, the foundation will host its annual jazz concert series this summer. The free, family-friendly gatherings will bring together music lovers for summer nights filled with live performances, local vendors and community engagement.
The series will be held on May 21, June 18 and July 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the armory, 610 Reisterstown Road. Performers will include John Lamkin II, Seth Kibel and the Charles Funn Big Band.
Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy food trucks, cold treats and craft vendors. The event will be held on the front lawn of the armory, where there will be plenty of space to gather and enjoy a fun evening. There is also plenty of free parking available at and around the armory.
Other upcoming events at the armory include a partnership with Everyman Theatre for a monologue workshop, the annual “Taste of Northwest Festival” in August, and Baltimore’s premier inflatables festival in September.
