Join Baltimore Center Stage for a one-night-only staged reading of “Squeaky,” a new autobiographical play by Baltimore-born playwright and theater director Jeff Cohen.

From Attman’s Delicatessen to Memorial Stadium, Lexington Market to Mondawmin Mall, “Squeaky” takes place in the Charm City neighborhoods that shaped its characters — and playwright. At its heart is Stan “Squeaky” Cohen, a larger-than-life father whose humor and stubbornness define his family as they navigate love, legacy and the tender realities of aging parents.

The all-star cast features DB Sweeney (The Cutting Edge, Lonesome Dove, Eight Men Out), Tony Award-nominee Craig Bierko (The Music Man, Cinderella Man, Boston Legal), Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-nominee Richard Masur (One Day at a Time, Rhoda, Transparent), two-time Obie Award winner Benja Kay Thomas (Broadway’s Fat Ham and Skeleton Crew, Off Broadway’s Booty Candy) and Drama Desk, Theater World and Elliot Norton award winner Lizbeth MacKay (Crimes of the Heart, The Price).
