Author Renee Rosen to Speak at Jewish Library of Baltimore Event
Join the Jewish Library of Baltimore, an agency of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, for a talk by bestselling author Renee Rosen. The Chicago-based Rosen will discuss her new novel “Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl” (Berkley), a fictionalized account of the life of late American Jewish businesswoman and cosmetics entrepreneur Estee Lauder (born Josephine Esther Mentzer in Corona, New York).
Appetizers and wine will be served. Free makeup samples will also be available.
This event — which costs $18 per person — will take place on the second floor of the Park Heights Jewish Community Center, at 5708 Park Heights Avenue, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 6:30- 8 p.m. For information, visit associated.org/jewishlibrary/
