Bet Chaverim to Dedicate New Home in Columbia

Bet Chaverim Congregation of Howard County will dedicate its new spiritual home on Sunday, Sept. 18. Among the dignitaries to attend the ceremony will be Rep. John Sarbanes, Howard County Executive Calvin B. Ball III, Howard County Jewish Federation Executive Director Joel Frankel, Bet Chaverim’s Rabbi Kim Blumenthal and congregational lay leaders. In addition, the dedication ceremony will include a musical selection from the congregation’s religious school students, blessings and the traditional affixing of the mezuzah to the doorpost.
Bet Chaverim is an inclusive, egalitarian Conservative congregation in Columbia.
