All members of the community are invited to Chizuk Amuno Congregation’s Mitzvah Fair to meet with representatives from local agencies and learn about volunteer opportunities available to them.

As part of the 613 & Me program, the synagogues b’nai mitzvah students (5th, 6th, and 7th grades) and their families will meet with representatives from local non-profit agencies to explore volunteer options. They will also participate in a service project and hear an inspirational story from a Chizuk Amuno Mitzvah hero.

That morning, there will also be a Children’s Book Drive and Professional Clothing Drive from 9 a.m.-noon. The synagogue will collect books in new or gently-used condition and appropriate for grades K through 4. Religious content is not accepted. Please donate clean seasonal professional clothing and accessories.

Volunteers are needed for receiving and hanging clothes and making deliveries. To volunteer, please contact Amy Chapper.
