Community Events to Remember Oct. 7th Attacks
Join the Baltimore Israel Coalition, The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and other community partners for this year’s Oct. 7th community commemoration. “United in Hope: A Day of Remembrance, Reflection, and Resilience” will begin at Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation, 7310 Park Heights Avenue in Pikesville, at 9 a.m. with the March for the Hostages, Baltimore’s weekly walk of solidarity.
Immediately following the walk will be a short commemoration ceremony. After the ceremony, guests are invited to visit a gallery featuring images and videos from and artistic responses to the terrorist attacks of Oct. 7, 2023.
For security purposes, registration is required.
At 5 p.m., that same day, the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue in Owings Mills, will host a screening of the short film “Not in Our School,” followed by a panel discussion. Please register separately for the film.
