“Celebrating Jews in the Arts” is a three-part series devoted to the vibrant legacy and ongoing influence of Jewish creativity. Hosted by distinguished experts, each event showcases how Jewish artists and performers have shaped music, visual arts, and comedy across generations.
On November 10, 2025 at 7 p.m., art historian Dr. Ori Z. Soltes explores Jewish innovation in the visual arts over the past 150 years, from Moritz Oppenheim to Anish Kapoor. This image-rich engaging talk highlights how Jews have helped shape modern and contemporary art, breaking boundaries and redefining creativity. Key works by both renowned and lesser-known artists will be discussed, offering a comprehensive view of Jewish influence across genres and movements.
