Since 2016, Jmore has celebrated the vibrant story of the Jewish community in the greater Baltimore region. Jmore is now officially a registered nonprofit (Jewish Media and Cultural Education Corp.).

This change is about more than simply tax status. It is confirmation of Jmore’s mission to continue promoting and engaging the diverse Baltimore Jewish community with fresh, current and compelling content. 

With a renewed commitment, Jmore plans to focus on developing local talent and leadership with:

• Expanded internship programs for teens and young adults in print, photo-journalism and digital platforms;
• Community writing contests with expert coaching;
• And strategic partnerships with schools, synagogues and other institutions.
