Erin Levitas Foundation to Host ‘Play with a Purpose’ Event

Join the Erin Levitas Foundation on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from noon until 4 p.m. for “Play with a Purpose.” Friends, families, and individual supporters will come together for a day of games while raising awareness about body safety and boundaries in the fight to prevent sexual harm. The event will be hosted by the foundation’s co-chairs, Susan Lawson and Jordan Higgins.
Supporters will gather at Woodholme Country Club, at 300 Woodholme Avenue in Pikesville, to play games and support sexual violence prevention. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own games and enjoy mahjong, canasta, or bridge. A catered lunch and prevention resources will be provided during the event.

The Erin Levitas Foundation is a Baltimore-based nonprofit dedicated to ending sexual assault. The foundation provides early education resources for youth, young people, caregivers and educators to deconstruct negative attitudes and perceptions that give rise to sexual violence and support healthy behaviors. Through programs at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law that serve two Baltimore City middle schools, and additional programs offering virtual resources, a children’s book and supporting St. Timothy’s School, the foundation is reaching families throughout the country and bringing awareness to, investing in and providing early education to prevent sexual violence.
