Free Community Concert with Lafayette Gilchrist and the New Volcanoes
Beth Am Synagogue is proud to celebrate 50 years as an active member of the Reservoir Hill community! Join fellow Beth Am congregants and neighborhood partners for a free concert featuring Award-winning jazz royalty Lafayette Gilchrist, his full 10-piece ensemble, and special guest, Baltimore rapper Eze Jackson. It’s sure to be a joyful time with all!
Sunday, May 18th at Beth Am Synagogue
Doors open: 3 PM
Showtime: 4 PM
A community reception will follow the concert.
Lafayette Gilchrist is the winner of an Independent Music Award for Best Jazz Album and the Maryland State Arts Council’s Maryland Traditions Master/Apprentice Award. His work was featured in the scores for the hit TV shows The Wire and Treme.
