From Chasing My Cure to Every Cure: An Evening with Dr. David Fajgenbaum

Join BridgingLife, LifeBridge Health, Living Well @The J and Jewish Community Services on Monday, November 18 for an inspiring evening with Dr. David Fajgenbaum, a survivor, physician-scientist and best-selling author of Chasing My Cure: A Doctor’s Race to Turn Hope Into Action.
During the free event, Dr. Fajgenbaum will share his powerful story about battling his own rare illness, detailing his unique research into finding a common drug as a treatment and how this led to his advocacy for finding treatments for others facing rare illnesses.
Known as “the doctor who cured himself,” David Fajgenbaum, M.D., MBA, MSc, is a groundbreaking physician-scientist who has battled Castleman disease and spearheaded the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network. His innovative research methods led to the identification of 17 repurposed treatments for various diseases, including COVID-19.
Dr. Fajgenbaum co-founded Every Cure to unlock the full potential of existing drugs to treat numerous conditions. Dr. Fajgenbaum’s story, detailed in Chasing My Cure, highlights his resilience and dedication to turning hope into action.

Copies of Chasing My Cure will be available on site, and Dr. Fajgenbaum will sign books before and after the event.
