Jewish Disability Advocacy Day on Feb. 28

February 28, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and the Baltimore Jewish Council invite you to attend Jewish Disability Advocacy Day on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Join people from across North America virtually to discuss breaking down barriers to create fully inclusive and flourishing Jewish communities.

· Listen to community members living with disabilities as they share the challenges they face – and what support they need to overcome them.

· Learn what Jewish Federations, Jewish human service agencies, and others are doing to improve the daily lives of people living with disabilities.

· Hear from leading Members of Congress, disability advocacy champions, changemakers, and experts who will help us better understand the remaining obstacles to inclusion and national legislation that will help millions of people with disabilities flourish.

· Advocate for the policies that make an impact in real-time. Together we’ll work towards Improving economic security for people will disabilities and helping lift them out of poverty through the Bipartisan SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act (S 2767 H.R 5408).
