KidSTOCK Family Concert Series
The Waldorf School of Baltimore is thrilled to invite families to immerse themselves in the magic of music and community at the KidStock Spring Concert Series. Set against the backdrop of spring, these enchanting performances promise to captivate audiences of all ages, plus lots of nature crafts and activities!
This series, taking place on April 13, April 21, and April 28 from noon to 3 pm, will transform the Waldorf School of Baltimore, located at 4801 Tamarind Road, into a vibrant hub of creativity and harmony.
Grammy Award-Winning Family Artists:
April 13 – Sonia De Los Santos:
Embark on a musical journey inspired by Latin American rhythms and North American folk traditions with Sonia De Los Santos. Nominated for a Latin Grammy®, Sonia’s music has been hailed by Billboard as “one of the Latin Children’s music artists you should know.”
April 21 – Fyütch:
Grammy-nominated artist Fyütch uses Hip-Hop, spoken word, and visual storytelling to create unique experiences promoting racial equity and liberation.
April 28 – Dan and Claudia Zanes:
Grammy award-winning performer Dan Zanes, along with Haitian-American music therapist and jazz vocalist Claudia Zanes, will enchant audiences with artful modern-day folk music.
Opening Acts by BSO, BSYO, and Peabody Youth Ensemble:
Each concert will kick off with performances by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras, and Peabody Youth Ensemble, showcasing the remarkable musical talent within our community.
Crafts, Activities, and Food:
In addition to the musical performances, families can engage in natural, hands-on crafts and activities, including a drumming circle with Stages Music Arts and a nature scavenger hunt. Delicious treats from Taharka Ice Cream and Dizzy Cow Pizza will be available, along with a native plant sale from Bluewater Baltimore to kickstart your gardens.
Ticket Information:
Tickets are $5 per show or $12 for a trio ticket (access to all three concerts). Online tickets are available at www.waldorfschoolofbaltimore.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the venue for $7 per guest on the day of the event.
