Maryland New Directions, a nonprofit providing no-cost employment coaching and specialized career training to people in and around Baltimore City, will hold its seventh MVP Event at the Mount Washington Tavern, 5700 Newbury Street. The MVP Event is MND’s annual celebration of the clients, staff, volunteers and partners who make the organization’s work possible.

The evening will recognize two individuals who completed MND’s career training programs and successfully launched new careers while overcoming personal barriers. MND will also acknowledge its Volunteer of the Year and Employment Partner of the Year. Attendees will hear personal accounts of the life-changing work that MND does for its clients, including career coaching and training.
