Join the Baltimore Jewish Council, the Baltimore Zionist District and Hadassah Greater Baltimore for a screening of the documentary “Screams Before Silence” on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation, 7310 Park Heights Avenue.

Narrated by American business leader Sheryl Sandberg, the film explores the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas during the attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, including the massacre at the Nova Festival and abductions to the Gaza Strip. The film offers first-person testimony from survivors, first-responders, eyewitnesses, released hostages, forensic experts and advocates.

A panel discussion will follow the film. A mental health professional will be onsite at the event, and attendees will be welcomed to exit the room at any time.
