Pikesville Volunteer Fire Co. to Hold Chametz Burning Event
April 22, 2024 @ 7:00 am - 11:30 am
On Monday morning, Apr. 22, the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company will hold its second annual Passover chametz burning event at the firehouse, at 40 East Sudbrook Lane. For this year’s gathering to burn leavened products, the PVFC has partnered with Pikesville’s Beth Tfiloh Congregation. The event starts at 7 a.m. (firefighters will begin on-site preparations with burn barrels at 6 a.m.). The event will stop promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Organizers are asking for chametz and paper only — no plastic, foil or styrofoam, or closed cans or bottles. Limited dumpster space will be available. Please limit what you bring as a courtesy to all others. Recommended donation: $10 per family.
