Tovah Feldshuh Documentary to be Screened at Annapolis Film Festival
The Annapolis Film Festival and the Annapolis Film Society will screen the documentary “Tovah,” celebrating the life and legacy of award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh. The documentary traces the Manhattan-born Feldshuh’s rise from daring newcomer to Broadway legend renowned for her transformative portrayals of complex historical women, most notably Golda Meir.

This event will be held at St. John’s College, in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium, at 60 College Avenue in Annapolis.
After a breakfast and film screening, Feldshuh and “Tovah” director David Serero will speak at a special Q&A.
Now 77, Feldshuh continues to be an icon of both stage and screen, currently starring in Netflix’s hit series “Nobody Wants This.” Through a blend of rare archival footage and intimate interviews with Feldshuh herself — as well as artists such as Oscar Isaac, Kristen Bell, Patti LuPone, and Stephen Schwartz, among others — this film is both a celebration and cultural chronicle, capturing an enduring icon whose impact continues to inspire generations.
