Tricks and Tales

A Workshop of Strategies for Parents and Joyful Reading for Children.
Designed to empower parents and cultivate a love for reading in children, this event offers invaluable insights and practical tips to support reluctant or struggling readers at home.
Parents are invited to participate in a session led by Yona Zalesch, an experienced occupational therapist who will share sensory strategies, transforming reading and homework into stress-free experiences. Debbie Logue, a veteran reading specialist will provide a second session with strategies for encouraging and nurturing a love of reading outside the classroom.
Children will participate in engaging and interactive activities led by a JES/Jewish Library educator, demonstrating that reading is not only essential but also incredibly enjoyable.
