Weekend Backpacks to Host Annual Fundraiser
Weekend Backpacks Baltimore, the nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood hunger for local schoolchildren, will host its annual fundraiser, this year tailgate-themed in honor of the Ravens Foundation and celebrating 30 years of Baltimore Ravens football.
The evening — at Martin’s Valley Mansion: 594 Cranbrook Road in Cockeysville — will spotlight tailgate-themed food, community and Baltimore pride, as everyone huddles up together, sharing laughs, bites and Baltimore spirit, all while raising vital funds to help bridge the weekend gap of food insecurity and ensure every child has access to food.
Among the attendees will be Ravens legends Qadry Ismail and Femi Ayanbadejo, Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders, Baltimore Ravens mascot (Poe) and vendors.
