It might’ve been a wet and windy Wednesday night, but the folks at Beth El @ Federal Hill didn’t let that stop their Sukkot soiree.
To celebrate the Festival of Booths, preschool students, parents, faculty members and others at Beth El @ Federal Hill gathered Oct. 16 for “Sukkot Under the Stars.”
The 90-minute gathering, at the school’s location at 1530 Battery Ave., was billed as a night of schmoozing and noshing to celebrate the eight-day holiday. It was Beth El @ Federal Hill’s first Sukkot party ever.
Beth El @ Federal Hill is the only Jewish preschool in the downtown area. Among those in attendance at “Sukkot Under the Stars” was Rabbi Etan G. Mintz, spiritual leader of B’nai Israel Synagogue in East Baltimore.
