Jimmy Berg has been in the retail automotive business for over 36 years. He is currently the owner of Sunrise Toyota in Oakdale, N.Y., Sunrise Toyota North in Middle Island, N.Y. and Sunrise Chevrolet in Forest Hills, Queens. Sunrise Toyota is one of the top volume dealers in the New York Region for Toyota and a perennial winner of the Toyota Presidents award for outstanding customer satisfaction. Jimmy served on the National Toyota Dealer Council for six years representing the 113 New York region dealers. He was formerly the Vice-President and a Principal with Len Stoler Automotive in Maryland for 25 years. He is also a partner in AutoBuy (wepaythemax.com), one of the country’s largest car buying companies based out of South Florida.

In addition, he has served on many non-profit boards such as The Sunrise Association ( Day camps for youth with cancer and their siblings), Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association ( GNYADA), The Associated; Jewish Federation of Baltimore (Past-Chair of the Board), The Ronald McDonald House of Maryland, Boys’ Latin School of Baltimore, LifeBridge Health, Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Jewish Federations of North America and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He received his BS in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Maryland in College Park.

Jonathan Ehrenfeld is a solutions-focused entrepreneur and senior executive, with more than 20 years of success across the real estate, waste removal, environmental abatement, and construction industries. Leveraging his extensive experience in helming a wide variety of companies, he is well versed and experienced in leading organizations through challenging conditions to ultimately achieve success. His broad areas of expertise include leadership, operational management, financial restructuring, human capital development, growth and expansion, and business development.

Since starting his first company in 2004, Jonathan has been a steady and guiding force for his teams through periods of economic expansion and recession. He places a tremendous emphasis on developing a positive environment for all team members – providing them necessary resources, challenging them to achieve greater things, and consistently celebrating their success. Jonathan’s reserved demeanor belies a confident, forward-thinking leader of multiple entities — collectively overseeing more than 300 employees. Applying quantitative data to the decision-making process, he finds innovative solutions to position his organizations for a brighter future.

John Shmerler, Radcliffe Jewelers

John Shmerler

John Shmerler is the primary owner of Radcliffe Jewelers, Maryland’s premier omni-channel seller of diamonds, fine jewelry, Swiss watches and giftware. John began his career in Commercial Banking in Philadelphia following graduation from Bucknell University in 1988. In 1993, he joined with Danny Govberg, a third-generation jeweler, to pursue a roll up strategy in the fine jewelry space. From 1993-2001 they acquired more than 30 businesses before packaging and selling. Upon exit, John kept Radcliffe as his own business in partnership with Paul Winicki (Radcliffe founder) and Danny Govberg. In addition to Radcliffe, John has owned and operated several other businesses including publishing, e-commerce, internet development and manufacturing. Active in YPO and now YPO Gold, John is engaged in the entrepreneurial world.

John is deeply committed to philanthropy and giving back to the Baltimore community. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors of The Associated, where he chairs the Finance Committee. He chaired the Annual Campaign in 2017. John is the Chair of the Board of The First Tee of Greater Baltimore and a Vice Chair and a member of the Executive Committee for the BMW Championship that will be hosted at Caves Valley Golf Club in August 2021.
