Recipe: Dulany Noble’s Cranberry Casserole

Dulany Noble’s Cranberry Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 3 apples (Granny Smith or Honey Crisp) chopped (I don’t peel them. Lots of nutrition in the skins!)
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cook oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 1/3 flour any kind you have on hand
  • 1/3 1/3 chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • In a 2-quart casserole, combine apples, cranberries and sugar.
  • Mix remaining ingredients and spread over the cranberry mixture.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for almost an hour or until lightly browned and bubbly.

Notes

Double the recipe because you will want leftovers!
