Here is a rather easy recipe for a sauce to drizzle over homemade or store-bought gefilte fish.
Have ready in the refrigerator and drizzle over each gefilte fish serving. Or use as a dip for matzoh sticks. Yum!

Easy Sauce for Gefilte Fish
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons white horseradish from a jar
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 3/4 to 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- A dash of ground nutmeg optional
Instructions
- Puree all ingredients to as fine as possible.
- I use a plastic sandwich bag without the pleated bottom. Snip a small hole in the bottom and carefully fill the bag with sauce.
- Have ready in refrigerator and drizzle over each gefilte fish serving. Or use as a dip for matzoh sticks. Yum!
