Even before he fully flushed out the business model for his dog-friendly bar Bark Social, Baltimore resident Luke Silverman turned to Nemphos Braue LLC, a boutique corporate law firm, for guidance.

Lawyers, entrepreneurs themselves and also dog owners, co-founders George Nemphos and Tim Braue have been part of the Maryland-based Bark Social circle since its inception, from that first idea to the grand opening of their first location in Bethesda in 2020 to further expansion.

Bark Social is currently open in Bethesda, Baltimore (Canton), Philadelphia and Alexandria, Virginia, with new locations planned for Columbia and in Los Angeles and Temecula, California.

As CEO, Silverman has seen his Bark Social business thrive, and he has continued to turn to attorneys at Nemphos Braue to address entity formation, capital raises, employee and partner contracts, trademark filings, and other day-to-day corporate and business law matters.
