Adina B is a woman on a mission.
Her goal? To ensure that every woman who walks through the doors of AdinaB Salon and Spa at 14 Church Lane in Pikesville, “walks out feeling better than when they walked in. I love to empower women,” says Adina. “They come in; we make them feel better. They walk out with a little pep in their step.”
Though Adina’s Church Lane location opened about six months ago, she’s been building her business for nearly two decades.
“I started my business 17 years ago when I was waxing eyebrows on my couch in Pickwick [Apartments],” Adina recalls.
Nowadays, the busy, single mother of two teenagers, who’s also vice chair of her synagogue, has a brand new salon with a staff of 13. The salon’s highly trained and licensed staff offers a full range of services.
“I’m the waxing queen,” quips Adina. “We also have nurse practitioners for laser hair removal and Botox; massage therapy, facials, electrolysis, teeth whitening, lashes, eyebrows, and makeovers for events. We even sell a full line of cosmetics and skincare.”
Above and beyond the salon’s beauty treatments Adina and her staff are focused on providing great customer service and an openhearted environment that makes customers old and new feel like family.
Weekday evening appointments are available but schedule varies.
“At AdinaB, everyone can feel free to be who they are. It’s a warm, welcoming place, where inner beauty is celebrated as much as outer beauty.”
