Jeffrey Alfred Legum, a former area automobile dealership entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 25. The Pikesville resident and Baltimore Hebrew Congregation member was 83.

A Baltimore native, Legum was the son of Leslie Legum, a developer of large industrial parks and board chairman of the Park Circle Motor Co., and Naomi H. Legum was the owner and CEO of The Park Circle Co., DBA Park Circle Investments, a private investment company with interest in local corporations.

Legum was featured in “Who’s Who in Finance and Business” and “Who’s Who in America,” as well as the 1987 inaugural edition of “Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.”
