Up to and Including Now: The Art of Ronald R. Russell (Opening Reception)
Join us at Gallery 1448 for the opening reception for Up to and Including Now: The Art of Ronald R. Russell.
Ronald R. Russell is a master draftsman. Over his career, his work has explored themes of the American circus, the Tarot, and animals in flight. He is best known for his ongoing series of baseball imagery, illustrating the myriad food terms used in the game over the past 100 years. This remains some of his strongest work.
The show runs from May 6 – May 28, 2023. There will be receptions from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, Sunday May 7, and Sunday, May 28. The gallery will also be open (with no reception) from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday May 13, Sunday May 14, and Saturday May 27. Additional hours are available by appointment.
