Dr. Warren Massouda, an anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital for more than three decades who was known as “Guih” by family and friends, passed away on Sunday, Apr. 27.
A Pikesville resident and Chjzuk Amuno congregant. Dr. Massouda was 87.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lily Massouda (nee El Gamil); children, Liza (Roy) Koh and Brian (Amy) Massouda; and grandchildren, Tylor Massouda and Piper Massouda.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Louise (late Joseph) Massouda, Benoit Massouda and Sara (late Joseph) Levy.
Memorial services for Dr. Masouda will be held on Tuesday, Apr. 29, at noon at Sol Levinson’s Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. Interment will be at Arlington Chizuk Amuno Cemetery, 4300 N. Rogers Avenue.

The family will be in mourning at 4305 Scotch Rose Court in Pikesville on Tuesday, Apr. 29, following interment, Wednesday and Thursday, Apr. 30 and May 1, from 2 to 5 p.m., with services each night at 7:30 p.m.
