Join Pikesville’s Chizuk Amuno Congregation and the Baltimore Jewish Council for a special screening of the documentary “October 8,”  followed by a conversation with Rabbi Joshua Gruenberg of Chizuk Amuno and BJC executive director Howard Libit.

The film will be presented at Chizuk Amuno, at 8100 Stevenson Road.

The event is free, but registration is required.

“October 8” offers a powerful examination of the surge in antisemitism that erupted on college campuses, across social media, and in public spaces throughout the U.S. following the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel.

Through in-depth investigation, the film reveals how Hamas spent decades building sophisticated networks within the U.S. to influence institutions, and exposes the wave of online antisemitism, propaganda and disinformation fueled by Iran, China and Russia — all with the aim of sowing division within American society.
