Shuls Hold Joint Symposium on Helping Immigrants

Beyond Welcoming the Stranger

Come to Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation, 7310 Park Heights Avenue, to learn about ways to take action to support immigrant neighbors. The event will convene with a grounding in shared Jewish values and an overview of the current landscape that immigrants are facing, followed by sessions on how to take effective action, from community care to advocacy and legal support.

Learn your rights to protect yourself and your community members, learn how to support families affected by ICE actions, how to create shul policies to keep your congregation and community safe, how to advocate for systemic change, and more
