A festive spirit overtook the room

The Jewish Federation of Howard County held its biggest annual gathering of women of the year, the Great Challah Bake, on Oct. 26.

Approximately 250 Jewish mothers, grandmothers, daughters and sisters attended the two-hour event at Columbia’s Kahler Hall, joining with women all around the world for the International Shabbos Project.
