Proceeds from the 5K benefited the chamber and the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. Jmore was a co-sponsor of the event.

This year marked the fifth year that the chamber partnered with the Ulman Cancer. The Pikesville 5K was open to men and women of all ages and included a 1-mile run for children.

Commemorative T-shirts were given to the first 600 participants, and all youngsters 12 and under received a free T-shirt.

Post-race festivities included a full kosher hot breakfast, a live DJ, a moon-bounce, tables featuring more than 20 local vendors, B.C. Brewing Beer for participants 21 and older, and drawings for gift certificates, sports equipment and more.
