Recipe: Easy Sauce for Gefilte Fish

Here is a rather easy recipe for a sauce to drizzle over homemade or store-bought gefilte fish.

Have ready in the refrigerator and drizzle over each gefilte fish serving. Or use as a dip for matzoh sticks. Yum!

Easy Sauce for Gefilte Fish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tablespoons white horseradish from a jar
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 3/4 to 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • A dash of ground nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • Puree all ingredients to as fine as possible.
  • I use a plastic sandwich bag without the pleated bottom. Snip a small hole in the bottom and carefully fill the bag with sauce.
  • Have ready in refrigerator and drizzle over each gefilte fish serving. Or use as a dip for matzoh sticks. Yum!
