BSO Presents Off The Cuff: The Firebird
Michael Francis directs the orchestra in Stravinsky’s complete ballet, The Firebird. Premiered by the Ballets Russes in 1910 Paris, The Firebird is a majestic and magical tale of love and victory. Scored for a large orchestra, this piece showcases the full spectrum of orchestral color.
