Inc., the New York-based publisher of the American business magazine Inc., listed Trius Lending Partners on its annual “Inc. 5000,” the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

The Towson-headquartered Trius was ranked 372nd on the list, as well as the seventh fastest growing company in Maryland and 29th among financial service companies.

“We are honored to be among the distinguished and dynamic companies recognized by Inc. magazine,” said Josh Shein, managing partner of Trius. “It is a success that can be attributed to the extraordinary work our employees put forth on a daily basis, and our strategic approach to lending and empowering our clients to become real estate investors.”

Trius is one of the leading rental and investment property lenders in the Mid-Atlantic region, providing private funding to real estate investors. Over the past three years, Trius has experienced 1,701% growth, and the firm currently holds and services more than 350 loans throughout the region.

Companies on the 2022 “Inc. 5000” were ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by Mar. 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2021.

Complete results of the “Inc. 5000” — including company profiles and an interactive database sorted by industry, region and other criteria — can be found at inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, which will be available on Aug. 23.

“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
