What better way to spend a Saturday morning than being with friends and having some fun? That’s what 30 kids under the age of four and their parents did last Saturday morning, July 1, at a Community Connector event at Bubala Indoor Playground in Pikesville.

The Community Connector program is a project of the  Louise D. and Morton J. Macks Center for Jewish Education.

After being greeted by Laurie Rosen, Community Connector for the Pikesville-Mount Washington area, kids enjoyed the the ball pit, slides, trampolines and climbing areas while parents schmoozed and drank coffee (lots of coffee). The kids also received goody bags and books from PJ Library.

“It was a lot of fun,” Rosen said of the 90-minute gathering. “It was a nice, safe place for the kids to enjoy themselves.”

The connector program was launched in April 2014, providing individuals and families with opportunities to connect with others and immerse themselves in the Jewish community.
