Get Set ABA invites area families to a first-of-its-kind Autism-
The afternoon will feature interactive activities, arts and crafts, a karate demonstration and an inflatable obstacle course, all set in a sensory-friendly environment where children can simply be themselves. The goal is to create a day where families can relax, connect and feel supported in a judgment-free space.
“Raising a child with autism can make everyday moments feel like an Olympic sport — from mealtime to playtime,” said Eve Cantor, community director of Get Set ABA. “We wanted to create a space where families can relax, connect, and see that they’re part of a bigger, loving community.”
Get Set ABA provides compassionate, family-centered Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children with autism across Maryland. The organization focuses on measurable progress, genuine connection and empowering parents with practical tools to support their child’s growth — at home, in school and in the community.
