Please join us at Howard Community College at the reception for Creative Quest: Art from the Holocaust’s Second Generation. Attendees will be able to meet the artists and enjoy a performance of Yiddish music and poetry.

The seven artists in this exhibition are children of Holocaust survivors. They are individual voices of the Second Generation. The subject matter of their work, the materials they use, and the themes they address reflect the intense nature of their family history. The participating artists are Trudy Babchak, Coos Hamburger, Micheline Klagsbrun, Miriam Mörsel Nathan, Margot S. Neuhaus, Chaya Schapiro, & Mindy Weisel.

The show runs March 1 – April 28 in the Rouse Company Foundation Gallery, in the Horowitz Center at HCC. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily. The gallery will be closed April 11 – 17 for spring break.
