Lilith Co-Founder/Editor to Speak at Convention of Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Md.
The Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Maryland will hold it 107th annual convention on Thursday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m. at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, 7401 Park Heights Ave. in Pikesville. The keynote speaker will be Susan Weidman Schneider, co-founder and editor of Lilith, the award-winning Jewish women’s magazine. All attendees will receive a free copy of Lilith, and Schneider will be available immediately following the convention to autograph magazines and her books for sale.
At the convention, Betsy Narrow, past president of the Levindale Auxiliary, will be honored with the E.B. Hirsh Lifetime Achievement Award, and one member of each of the various organizations will receive “A Woman Who Leads the Way” award.
