Mississippi Heat Brings the Blues to Alonzo’s Memorial Picnic

Join the Baltimore Blues Society on Sunday, Aug. 31, from noon to 8 p.m. for the 28th annual Alonzo’s Memorial Picnic at the VFW Sparrows Point-Edgemere, 6521 North Point Road. This year’s concert will feature the Chicago-based blues band Mississippi Heat, multi-instrumentalist Skyler Saufley, the Bob Lanza Blues Band and local blues singer Gayle Harrod.

Pierre Lacocque, the Jerusalem-born founder, harmonica player and band leader of Mississippi Heat.
