The 31st annual Tour de Court fundraising event will be held in the heart of Pikesville on Sunday, Aug. 31. At this beloved grassroots gathering, a select group of geriatrics, along with some “ballers” from the next generation, will continue the local tradition of compassion. The basketball and ceremonial bike rides are held in Rachel Minkove’s memory.

Thanks to communal generosity, nearly $500,000 has been raised over the years for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The funds are now earmarked as a scholarship fund for blood cancer survivors.

While LLS remains its focal cause, the event also directs a portion of funds raised to additional communal projects, including the Ulman Foundation and the Jewish Caring Network.
