OrthoMaryland, the state’s oldest independent private Orthopedic practice, will open a walk-in care location in the Harford County community of Abingdon on Friday, Jan. 24. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m., and an open house will be presented from 2 to 7 p.m.

The Abingdon location will be at 3401 Box Hill Corporate Center Drive, Suite 120.

Next year, OrthoMaryland — which was founded by Dr. Moses Gellman (1896-1960) in 1925  — will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Specialties across nearly every orthopedic discipline include joint replacement, arthritis care, foot & ankle, spine care, hand & upper extremity surgery, sports medicine, general orthopedics and interventional pain management.

OrthoMaryland also offers physical and occupational therapy service.

Other OrthoMaryland walk-in care centers are located at Quarry Lake, Owings Mills and Lutherville.
