With frigid temps baring down, it’s hard to stay toasty, let alone chic. We’ve got the details on how to stay stylish when the mercury drops, from your head to your toes.

Make “hat hair” trendy with a slouchy cashmere beanie topped with a furry pom-pom or embossed with crystals.

This season’s coats come in a wide variety of cuts and fabrics. Ponchos still reign supreme, and Parker’s version in red-and-black plaid accented with military-inspired buttons is an instant classic. Milly’s bright fuchsia chubby is sure to add a dose of cheer to even the dreariest day. Paired with an evening gown or pair of jeans, this fluffy confection is a guaranteed head-turner. On milder days, don a shearling vest atop a classic turtleneck sweater for casual elegance.

Remember duck boots? These beloved all-weather boots are enjoying a well-deserved resurgence. Whether you opt for the original LL. Bean design or a jazzed-up version with metallic leather – a la Jack Rogers – be sure to scoop up a pair to keep your feet cozy and dry before the first blizzard strikes.

For a sexier look, keep your feet high and dry with a pair of stack-heeled booties in warm, grey flannel or tuck your skinny jeans into a pair of classic Lucchesse that will only look better with wear.
